A free date planner for Kansas City, made by a Kansas City local. Tell it the day and your budget, and it hands you a whole date: where to go, in what order, about what it costs, and how to get between the stops.
How to plan a date
- Pick a starting point on Home. Tonight, This weekend or Pick one for us gives you a full date in one tap. Build our date lets you choose the budget, the part of town and what sounds fun.
- Look over your dates. Each one shows the stops in order, the times, the cost for two and a map. Don’t like a stop? Swap it.
- Save it or send it. Keep it in My Dates, add it to your calendar, or text the link to your partner.

- Plan Together
- You and your partner each answer on your own phone. Then you vote on three dates built from what you both said yes to.
- Dinner before a show
- Pick the venue and the showtime, and get a place to eat nearby that gets you to your seats on time.
- This weekend
- What's on Friday to Sunday, with times and places, and dates that go with them.
- Date ideas
- Ready-made dates sorted by neighborhood and by kind: cheap, rainy day, first date, late night and more.
- My Dates
- Everything you saved, from want to go, to booked, to we went. The Date Jar holds ideas for a night when nobody can decide.
- Passport
- A stamp book with a page for every neighborhood you've had a date in.
- Boards and Trails
- Games you play with real dates around town, like a board of fall dates or a trail of the best burgers.
- Start our date
- On the night, it turns your plan into a simple now and next screen, with when to leave for the next stop.
Good to know
It’s free to use for now. You can plan and save dates without an account; they stay on your phone. Sign in to keep them on every device and to start a Plan Together.
Prices and times are estimates. Hours change, so check a place’s own page before you head out. Nothing on the site is paid to be here.
Why I built this
I hope everyone is enjoying the website and is able to use it for the planning needs of KC!
I made this website because I am a huge fan of the city and the growth it is currently experiencing. I find new places every week, and these places should be easier to find and explore. I have always been told I am a good planner, so I wanted to use that to show some love to this amazing city. I have been a Chiefs and Royals fan my whole life and love this city, and I can’t wait to keep watching it grow and keep adding new places and dates here.
It’s still in beta and it’s a solo team, just me, so you might run into a bug here and there. If something looks off, shoot me a note with the Contact link at the bottom of the page and I’ll get on it. And thank you, really, to everyone who’s used it, shared it, or told me about a spot I didn’t know yet. You all are the best part of this.
